class="wp-caption-text">Samsung Galaxy S3 (Galaxy S3 / Galaxy SIII)

Recently there has been a number of flagship smartphones released from a number of manufacturers which share a few features in common, such as the new version of Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich software and quad-core processors. Two of the most notable are the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the LG Optimus 4X HD. In this article I will compare some of the key features of these handsets to see how they measure up against one another.

Both handsets share several common specifications. As mentioned, the latest version of Android (Ice Cream Sandwich) is the operating system of choice on both handsets so users have access to the most up to date features of the platform which include, among others, the ability to unlock the phone using face recognition, and an all new interface aesthetic and improved access to multitasking tabs along with improved customisation of apps and widget layouts. The Samsung Galaxy S3 runs a recently upgraded version of the TouchWiz UI, which is Samsung’s custom Android interface, whereas the LG Optimus 4X HD simply has the default Android interface. Both handsets also have quad-core processors with the LG phone clocking 1.5GHz of power whereas the Galaxy S3 has 1.4GHz. Although this is less, the Samsung offering has arguably more advanced processor technology, with Samsung’s very own Exynos chipset. Either way, both phones offer top performance, which is matched only by very few other smartphones.

As camera phones go, these are two of the best. The LG Optimus 4X HD has an 8 megapixel camera, and provides outstanding image quality thanks to its high pixel resolution, LED flash, image stabilisation, face detection, autofocus etc. it also has the ability to capture 1080p video which is classes as high definition. For high quality results and basic functionality, the camera on the LG Optimus 4X HD is among the best out there. If you are looking for a more innovative camera, the Samsung Galaxy S3 would be my top recommendation. It has all the features of the Optimus 4X HD’s camera, but also has a number of innovative additions which are not even found in most standalone digital cameras. For example, there is a ‘burst shot’ mode which captures 8 pictures consecutively, in order to increase the chances of capturing the perfect image which is ideal for taking action shots. There is also the ability to capture still images while simultaneously filming HD video footage, and even face recognition software. This will automatically tag your Facebook friend when you take a picture of them as it recognises their faces.

There is of course plenty more to these phones, but as you can see both are a cut above the majority of the competition. Both offer great performance, but in my opinion the Samsung Galaxy S3 offers more in terms of its innovative features which are exclusive to this particular handset. It would be my top recommendation to anyone looking for the best smartphone out there.

Comparing The Samsung Galaxy S2 And The Nokia Lumia 800

Gadgets

Technology

android

Display resolution

microsoft

Nokia

Samsung

Samsung Galaxy II

Samsung Galaxy S2

Super AMOLED

Samsung Galaxy S2

The Samsung Galaxy S2 was released back in April 2011, this is just a couple of months after it was announced in February of that same year. On the other side of the equation, the Nokia Lumia 800 was released back in November of 2011 (released just a month after it was announced). In this article, we will talk about one of the best-selling Android smartphone to date and Nokia and Microsoft’s first product together. I am talking about the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the Nokia Lumia 800. I will make a brief comparison note on two of the top-selling handsets of today. I will start with Samsung and followed by Nokia. Read on!

Let us now start my comparison note with their Operating Systems (OS). Samsung packed its handset originally with the Android version 2.3 or Android Gingerbread. Recently, Samsung was able to get the much awaited and anticipated OS update the Ice Cream Sandwich. On the other hand, Nokia pre-shipped its handset with Microsoft Windows Phone version 7.5 or also known as the Windows Phone Mango OS. It is quite hard to give a point on these handsets when it comes to their OS. This is because we all have our preferences when it comes to OS. So I will just give them a good one point each.

Moving on, let’s talk about their processors and memory capacity. Samsung shipped its handset with a powerful and speedy dual-core processor which clocks at a speed rate of 1.2GHz. The handset also comes in with two memory capacity (16GB and 32GB). There is also an option for an added memory via the phone’s microSD card slot. You will be able to add as much as 32GB worth of memory storage on this handset. Nokia on the other hand packed its handset with a single-core processor which clocks at a speed rate of 1.4GHz. You will also get 16GB worth of storage space on this handset. Unlike the Galaxy S2, there is no microSD card slot on this phone. Therefore, your memory capacity is limited. When it comes to packing an added core to the processor, Samsung wins by a good one point. When it comes to packing more memory options, Samsung wins another good one point.

Let’s now talk about their display screens. The Galaxy S2 packs a whopping 4.3″ Super AMOLED Plus touch screen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (217 ppi pixel density). The Lumia 800 packs a 3.7″ AMOLED capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (252 ppi pixel density). When it comes to packing a bigger screen, the Galaxy S2 gets a good one point. But when it comes to packing the same screen resolution as the S2 and higher pixel density, the Nokia gets a good point as well.

To sum up my comparison note, Samsung received 4 good points while Nokia received 2 good points. The answer is now obvious as to who wins under the said categories.

This is my short comparison note on the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the Nokia Lumia 800.

Samsung Galaxy S3 And Apple iPhone 4S – Voice Command Features Compared

Gadgets

Technology

android

Apple

iphone

iphone 4

ITunes

Samsung

Samsung Galaxy S II

siri

Samsung Galaxy S3 (Galaxy S3 / Galaxy SIII)

When Samsung revealed its new flagship, the Galaxy S3 a couple of weeks ago, many were impressed by its features and it seems to have lived up to its high expectations, given the success of its predecessor the Galaxy S2. One of the most talked about features is the S-Voice feature.

This is a voice activated personal assistant which is similar in nature to Siri, is the voice command system found on Apple’s iPhone 4S. In this article I will compare the two, to see how they differ.

Siri
Many people are familiar with Siri, as it is one of the flagship features of the wildly popular iPhone 4S. It was the first mainstream voice command system on a smartphone and wowed many people when the handset was launched. The way in which Siri works is actually quite simple. It uses the most appropriate native iOS up to carry out the task. For example if you ask what the traffic is like in a certain location it will use by Google Maps app with its live traffic updates. Of course you will have to be connected to the Internet carry out such functions as the app uses live data from an outside source. The same goes for carrying out Internet searches and inputting URLs to go to a specific website. However, there are plenty of other functions which can be carried out without an Internet connection. For example you can dictate a new text message, create appointments in your calendar and write and send new emails. Also, you can use Siri to control your iTunes, simply by telling its own player a specific song title.

S-Voice
The Samsung Galaxy S3 offers S-Voice, which is a similar feature to Siri, of course, the main difference being that this is optimised for the Android platform rather than iOS. The differences between S-Voice and Siri are actually rather subtle. For example, with S-Voice you activate the feature by saying ‘Hi Galaxy’, rather than by opening the app manually as with Siri, making it a truly hands free feature. After all, this is the whole point of having such as feature in the first place. Also, you may find that S-Voice operates faster than Siri thanks to faster 3G and Wi-Fi connections, and a more powerful processor which allows the software to respond much faster.

Because Siri uses all native iOS apps to carry out tasks, the chances are that you will find it to be more accurate in its results when using online services. Also, it is worth bearing in mind that the Samsung Galaxy S3 was only released very recently, and the iPhone 4S has been available for around 8 months and the iPhone 5 is due to be released later this year and will probably see a new generation Siri features added. Choosing between the two comes down largely to your preference for either iOS or Android, as at the end of the day there is very little to choose between the two. Both are very impressive, and when used correctly have the potential to greatly enhance your smartphone user experience.

Check out the best Many people and companies are starting to go mobile, and getting into marketing campaigns since over half of the US population accesses information by a smartphone. Even Google has said it, “mobile isn’t a trend, it’s the new era.” Before getting started with a mobile marketing campaign there are a few things that you should know.

When getting started with a mobile marketing strategy to build your company’s presence, there are two main routes to take: a mobile application (app) and website. If this is your first mobile marketing campaign, the difference between mobile app and website can daunting. Before we get started we should have a solid understanding of what a mobile app and mobile website is.

Both apps and websites are viewed on smartphones like the iPhone, Android devices, Blackberries, and Windows smartphones, and both will help with your mobile marketing campaign and presence. However, apps and websites serve different purposes, and what you need for your mobile marketing campaign depends on what your goals are for your end result.

A mobile app is an application you download from iTunes, Google Play, Blackberry App World or Windows Market Place. The app is then installed onto the users respective device, and the user can access the app on their device without using the users’ data and subscription plan (there are some exemptions based on how the app works). A mobile app will either come with all the content downloaded within the app, or may need to pull further content from the internet. To reach a majority of users the application has to be developed for the iPhone, Android, Blackberry and Windows phone.

A website lives on the internet and is accessed by utilizing a mobile browser on a users’ smartphone. Mobile websites are designed to compliment your existing website (if you have one, and you should). On your existing website you can have code installed to have a user automatically redirected to your mobile site when the user accesses your site through a smartphone. With a website it doesn’t matter if the user is on an iPhone, Android, Blackberry or Windows phone, as they are accessing your site through the browser on the smartphone.

Now that we know the differences of a mobile app and website, which is better to have?

The answer is up to you, and your goals. If your goal is to be interactive like a game, and reach a specific niche, a mobile app is the way to go. If your goal is reach the greatest number of people with mobile friendly content, a mobile website is the way to go. In some case you may want a mobile app and a mobile website, but generally, a website should be the first step you take in starting your mobile marketing campaign.

With a mobile website you are going to reach the greatest number of people. People can access your mobile site a number of different ways including: scanning a QR code, finding your site in a search engine like Google and Bing, going directly to your standard website and being automatically redirected to your mobile site, or by accessing any number of ways that people access a website.

Get started with a mobile marketing campaign with a <a

Sadly, Apple has always been tight-lipped about revealing information on their upcoming devices. However, we can always look at the rumours surrounding the upcoming iOS-powered device.

Many expect the new handset to sport a bigger touch screen similar to those of today’s flagships. The HTC One X sports a 4.7 inch display. The Galaxy S3 sports a 4.8 inch display. Since the competition offers massive display, you may think the Cupertino firm will do the same. However, according to reports, Apple will fit a retina display on their new smartphone not bigger than 4 inches. You may be disappointed with this. However, it does make a lot of sense. Imagine the daunting task app developers would have to go through redesigning their apps for this larger display.

Another report claims that the upcoming handset will sport a smaller dock connector. It is said to save on power and space. This will allow Apple to fit in more hardware without compromising the phone’s slim profile. However, since this is smaller dock connector, this means that it will not be compatible with other accessories that can be used by the iPhone 4 and 4S.

The iPhone 5 is said to be ditching Google Maps. According to reports, iOS 6 will feature Apple’s own mapping service. It is said to guide you to your destination in 3D. The Cupertino firm’s iOS 6 will be launched at Apple’s WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference) in June of this year. However, the smartphone is rumored to be officially launched in October just like the 4S. This means that we might have to wait longer to finally get to see the much awaited handset.

Lastly, we’re not so sure if Apple plans to call their next generation smartphone the ‘iPhone 5′. Why is this? Let’s take a look at the iPad 2′s successor. Before it was launched, many believed it would be called the ‘iPad 3′. However, it was launched as the ‘new iPad’. If this is the way Apple plans to name its new devices, then this means that the company has dropped the numerical suffix altogether. It’s possible the Cupertino firm may name their new handset the ‘new iPhone’, the ‘next iPhone’, or simply ‘iPhone’.

Of course, there’s no way to confirm these reports since upcoming Apple products are a tightly guarded secret. This means that we’ll just have to wait until the iPhone 5 has been officially unveiled for us to confirm the reports.

For <a

Two of them are the HTC One S and the Samsung Galaxy Beam. In this article, I will talk about these Android phones and see if they can match up with each other. I will start my comparison note with the HTC One S, followed by the Samsung Galaxy Beam. Read on!

Let’s start the comparison note with their Operating Systems (OS). The One S is pre-shipped with the latest Android Iteration the Ice Cream Sandwich. On the other hand, the Galaxy Beam is also an Android handset but it is pre-installed with Android version 2.3 or the Android Gingerbread OS. For this specific category, I give HTC a good point for packing its handset with the latest and most powerful Android OS to date.

Let us now move on to the processors and memory. HTC packed its handset with a powerful dual-core processor which clocks at a speed rate of 1.5GHz. It also comes in with 16GB worth of memory and 1GB worth of RAM. There is no microSD card slot on this handset. So you will not be able to add more memory on this handset. On the other side of the equation, the Beam packs the same dual-core processor but it only clocks at a speed rate of 1GHz. It comes in with 8GB worth of memory storage and 768MB worth of RAM. Unlike the One S, this handset comes in with a microSD card slot. With this, you can add as much as 32GB worth of extra memory storage on this handset. When it comes to faster dual-core processor, HTC wins by a good point. However, when it comes to having more storage options and capacity, Samsung wins a good point as well.

Let us now move to the cameras. HTC packed its handset with an 8MP shutter with 3264 x 2448 pixels. It also packs a VGA front-facing shutter. Video recording is at 1080p full HD and it can shoot at 30 frames per second (fps). Samsung on the other hand packed its handset with 5MP shutter with 2592 x 1944 pixels. But it comes in with a 1.3MP front-facing shutter. Video recording is at 720p and at 30 frames per second (fps). When it comes to packing a higher camera and video recording capability, HTC wins by two good points. On the other hand, Samsung wins a good point for packing a higher front-facing shutter.

To sum if up, HTC scored a whopping 4 points while Samsung scored 2 points. class="wp-caption-text">IPhone 4s

Samsung has recently launched its new flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S3. One of the most talked about features of its spec list is its camera. As one of the most important features for many when choosing a new smartphone, it competes with several other manufacturers’ flagship smartphones. In this article I will compare the camera with that of the wildly popular Apple iPhone 4S.

First of all I will look at the features that both cameras share in common. Both have a pixel resolution of 8 megapixels which is the standard for most new smartphones. There are some with higher pixel counts such as the Sony Xperia S and Nokia N8 (12 megapixels), but both the Galaxy S3 and iPhone 4S provide excellent image quality thanks to the technology possessed by their cameras. Both cameras also have all the usual image enhancing features included as standard such as autofocus, image stabilisation, touch focus and face detection. When it comes to video capture, both have various resolution settings, and share a maximum video resolution of 1080p which is of course full high definition.

Now onto the differences…

The Samsung Galaxy S3, being a much newer phone of course has some more up to date technology within its camera. Because of its quad-core processor, you will notice the speed at which the camera operates is almost unrivalled, not just by the iPhone 4S, but by most other Androids as well. The 1.4GHz quad-core chip ensures super quick response times from the camera interface, meaning that a photo is captured within 990 milliseconds of the capture button being touched. Furthermore, 3.3 photos can be snapped per second, which can be handy for capturing the optimum moment when trying to snap an action shot. There is also a burst shot feature which can capture up to 20 consecutive photos within one capture, and this will then suggest the best one for you to keep. The ability to simultaneously capture still images and videos is also included, a feature first seen on the HTC One X. As mentioned, the processing power is largely responsible for these new features. The iPhone 4S has a 1GHz dual-core processor which is of course much lower than that of the Galaxy S3. The iPhone 4S can hold its own as a camera phone. When it comes to standard functions such as taking photos and videos, it performs very well. Also there are plenty of photography apps available from the AppStore which significantly enhances its abilities as a camera phone.

On paper, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is the superior camera phone, thanks largely to its processing power and the inclusion of some of the aforementioned features. However, whether these features will be regularly used is down to the individual. If you are looking for a capable camera phone, which is easy to use and captured quality photos and videos, the iPhone 4S is still a great choice.

Check out the best IPhone 4s

Back in June of 2010, Apple came out with their 4th generation iPhone. Last year (December of 2011), BlackBerry released their BlackBerry Bold 9790. Now, let me tell you about two of the best smartphones that ever hit the market. In this article, we will talk about and compare the iPhone 4 and the BlackBerry Bold 9790. These handsets may be released one year apart (2010 and 2011) from each other, but they have been the best handsets that ever hit the market during their time. Please allow me to compare them for you. Read on!

I will start with their display screens. To start off the comparison note, let’s talk about Apple’s phone followed by BlackBerry’s handset. Apple packed its handset with 3.5″ LED-backlit IPS touch screen and it comes in with a screen resolution of 640 x 960 pixels (pixel density of 330 ppi). BlackBerry on the other hand packed its phone with 2.45″ TFT capacitive touch screen and it comes with a resolution of 480 x 360 pixels (pixel density of 245 ppi). When it comes to having a bigger screen and higher screen resolution, I can easily give a whole good point to Apple for packing its handset with a 3.5″ screen.

Another feature we should discuss and compare is their cameras. Apple packed its phone with 5MP shutter with 2592 x 1944 pixels. It can also record videos at 720 pixels at 30 frames per second. There is also a VGA front-facing camera on this with 480 pixels resolution and can shoot at 30 frames per second. BlackBerry on the other hand packed its handset with the same 5MP shutter with the same resolution (2592 x 1944 pixels). But it packs a VGA video recording capability only. There is also no front-facing shutter on this handset. Another good point and a half goes to Apple for packing a front-facing shutter and being able to record videos at 720 pixels.

Let’s now talk about processors and memory capacity. Apple decided to ship its handset with 1GHz Cortex – A8 processor chip. You can also choose from their 8, 16, or 32GB worth of memory storage handsets with 512MB RAM. BlackBerry on the other hand came up with 8GB worth of memory storage phones and backed it up with 768MB RAM. If the 8GB memory capacity is quite small for you, then you can easily add more memory via the phone’s microSD card slot. Yes, you can basically add as much as 32GB more worth of memory. When it comes to owning more memory storage or memory capacity, I give BlackBerry a whole good point for packing its handset with a memory card slot for more storage option.

From the main features mentioned above, Apple received two and a half good points and BlackBerry received only one. The answer is clear as to who wins in this comparison note. But whether you are an iPhone 4 fan or BlackBerry Bold 9790 fan, you always have the upper hand in choosing what is best for you.

This is my brief comparison note on the iPhone 4 and BlackBerry Bold 9790.

Comparing The Sony Xperia Sola And Samsung Galaxy Ace 2

Gadgets

Technology

android

Multi-core processor

Samsung

Samsung Galaxy Ace

sony

Sony Xperia Sola

TouchWiz

xperia

Sony Xperia Sola

March of 2012, Sony announced one of their latest Sony Xperia handsets the Xperia Sola. February of 2012, Samsung announced the latest Galaxy member and the sequel to their mid-range handset the Galaxy Ace. In this article I will talk about these two new and up and coming Android phones, the Sony Xperia Sola and the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2. I will start my comparison note with the Sony Xperia Sola followed by the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2. Read on!

Let us talk about display screens and how these two handsets match up with each other. The Xperia Sola packs a 3.7″ capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and pixel density of 265 ppi. It comes in with a latest technology called the “Floating Touch”. On the other hand, the Galaxy Ace 2 packs a 3.8″ PLS TFT capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and pixel density of 246 ppi. This handset may not have the floating touch but it comes packed with TouchWiz version 3.0 User Interface. When it comes to packing the biggest display screen, I give Sony a whole good point. But when it comes to packing the handset with more screen resolution and higher pixel density, I give Sony a whole good point as well. I guess, they are quite even when it comes to this category.

Let us now move on to processors and memory capacity. Sony packed its handset with a dual-core processor which clocks at a speed rate of 1GHz. It also comes in with 8GB worth of memory storage space (with only 5GB of it accessible to the user). You will also get 512MB worth of RAM on this. There is also a microSD card slot on this handset for more storage capacity. Samsung on the other hand packed its handset with the same dual-core processor, but it only clocks at the speed of 800MHz. It comes in with 4GB worth of storage space and 768MB worth of RAM. You will also add more memory and as much as 32GB on this handset via its microSD card slot.

Let us now talk about their OS. Sony packed its handset with Android Gingerbread but this is upgradeable to the latest Android Iteration in the near future. On the other hand, Samsung packed its handset with the same Android Gingerbread for its OS. But there is no planned upgrade for this handset. When it comes to OS, they are both even. But this case won’t be for too long because Sony planned an upgrade for its OS in the near future.

As you can see, they are both winners. They may have minor differences but, they are still both winners.

This is my brief comparison note on the Sony Xperia Sola and Samsung Galaxy Ace 2.

For more Any hospital, doctor’s office and nursing home needs to purchase all kind of medical supplies and keep on hand in order to address general medical needs and medical emergencies. For a regular and prompt medical supply many medical care providers have been doing business with medical supply warehouses for years and have established a professional relationship with them. But this kind of dependency on the suppliers makes the organizations to greatly over pay for medical and surgical supplies that they require.

Many hospitals agree to do contracts with specific medical suppliers. When they do this they end up getting trapped by the constraints of the contracts and are forced to pay a cost that may not be reasonable. One of the main reasons that they continue to purchase products from a supplier is mainly because of a long term relationship they have been with them. In such a situation organizations often tend to form a partnership with medical supplier and has simply not considered their shopping options.

Billing technique used by the suppliers they depend on is one another reason for the organisations to keep a business with the same medical supplier. Buyers must choose a billing alternative that is acceptable with the way they manage their organization’s finances. When ordering medical supplies, buyers are almost always concerned with quality. Buyers of medical organizations want to make sure that the supplies and equipment that they purchase are of the highest standards. But this does not happen when they rely on one single supplier and do not explore all other options available to them.

Looking at these issues in recent years, many medical discount warehouses have opened their doors as a way of responding to the high cost of medical equipment and supplies. These discount providers strive to work diligently and effectively to provide hospitals, nursing homes, and doctor offices with high quality medical supplies. They offer an affordable alternative for purchasing these types of items.

These discount suppliers take the orders online and save on the cost of warehouse, counter staff and other such services that an online store does not require. They share the profit so earned with the customers in the form of discounts on their products. Online suppliers can provide customers with the best quality and value. One such supplier is Medex and they also offer Medex Supply Coupon Codes to their customers.

If you also need to buy medical supply, you won’t be able to find a more affordable way to purchase the medical equipment and supplies. With a respectable online medical supply provider like Medex you can save a lot of money by using Medex Supply Coupon Codes while ordering your supplies online.

These online suppliers also cater to household need other than professional needs. If you want to buy any exercising equipment or other healthcare equipment for your personal use at home you can simply order it online and the product will be delivered to your doorstep. What could be a better thing for someone who is unable to go out in the market to search for medical equipments than an online store where you can search the product and order it from the comfort of your home? Medex Supply Coupon Codes are an added advantage for the customers.
