BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS – The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis have recorded its second murder of the year. Owner of Elvis Love Shack Bar & Grill on the Frigate Bay Strip was shot and killed Thursday 26th January 2012 last night. Now dead is Elvis Stanley of Old Road, St. Kitts.
Stanley was shot while driving his car along the Anchorage Road in Frigate Bay, St.Kitts. Reportedly after closing his Bar & Grill Stanley, the mother of his child and teenage son were travelling on their way home when the incident occurred. A vehicle reportedly slowed down blocking his path and while Stanley hooted his horn an unidentified assailant came out of the bushes and opened on him.
Stanley was shot and died instantly and also shot was the mother of his child. The woman was rushed to the JNF General Hospital, underwent emergency surgery and is now in stable condition. One of the bullets fired also grazed Stanley’s son on his thigh but he managed to get out of the vehicle and run to a friend who resides at the St. Christopher Club.
Stanley’s teenage son was also rushed to the hospital and treated for his wound.
