Carphone Warehouse leaks LG Nexus 4 SIM-free price – will set you back £390

It seems Carphone Warehouse is no good at keeping things hush-hush. The retailer previously leaked the LG Nexus 4 on its website, showing contract deals. Now, its retail store revealed a placard showing the devices SIM-free price, according to Android Authority.

It appears that one of Carphone Warehouse’s retail stores accidentally let slip a placard showing the price tag of the SIM-free version of the Nexus 4 at £398.95. It also shows that the phone is available for free on a pay monthly plan for £31, which has been previously leaked on the company’s website.

Aside from the SIM-free price, it also confirms the phone’s specs that have been previously leaked. The specs revealed on the placard are the phone’s weight at 139g, up to 12 hours of talk time, a rear-facing 8-megapixel camera, and a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor by Qualcomm.

Previously reported, the LG Nexus 4 is said to be based on the Optimus G’s specs, but share design similarities with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

When will the Nexus 4 get its official unveiling? It is expected to make an appearance at Google’s event, scheduled on the 29th of October. It will be joined by two more devices at the event.

The three devices consist of one smartphone and two tablets. Obviously, the Nexus 4 will be the smartphone. One of the tablets will be a new version of the Google Nexus 7 (the search giant’s 7-inch tablet. It is said to sport 32GB of storage and support for 3G.

The other tablet is the Google Nexus 10, which is 10.1-inch tablet manufactured by Samsung. The tablet has already been leaked via pictures said to be taken from the device’s camera by a Google exec. Photos of the device have also been leaked as well as the device’s instruction manual.

All devices are expected to run Android 4.2, an upgrade to Jelly Bean.
