Recently the news surrounding the US arrival of the yet to be released HTC devices has come out just this week. I am talking about the Windows Phone 8 device by HTC the HTC 8S and the Android device HTC One VX. Both of these devices are AT&T exclusive items.
If you remember it, the HTC 8S was announced by AT&T recently while the HTC One VX remained missing since it was launched a few months ago. Sadly, the news is not looking that good for both of these devices by HTC.
The HTC One VX was made available for pre-orders since the mid of November via AT&T. The device was originally scheduled for a November 16 release and was even priced for only $50 with a two-year contract. The phone boasts a 4.5” display and 1GHz dual-core processor. It also comes in with LTE connectivity option. This phone is nothing but affordable. An AT&T spokesperson said that this device will be made available on the 7th of December. This is an unfortunate delay but this news is better than what I have for the HTC 8S.
The HTC 8S has been announced back in September together with its bigger brother the HTC 8X. But, because of the continued MIA status of this device HTC recently issued a statement saying: “The Windows Phone 8X is our signature Windows Phone available at AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon in the U.S. With our focus on the Windows Phone 8X, the Windows Phone 8S is not currently planned for distribution in the U.S. market.”
This device comes packed with a 4” display and dual-core processor with a microSD card slot for more memory storage.
AT&T subscribers, are you willing to wait for the HTC One VX and the HTC 8S?
