The HTC One X currently sits proudly at the top of the Korean manufacturers range of handsets. Despite the fact that it was only launched quite recently HTC have unveiled details about a new Android update that is available for this phone. This latest version of the software will deliver new features and enhanced performance to the user.

We have recently seen version 4.0.4 appear on a number of premium smartphones and the superb HTC One X can now be added to this elite group of phones. HTC have committed to their consumers that handsets will receive updates to enhance the functionality and the user experience that their phones deliver and this latest software is evidence of the company staying true to their word. The main change that will be evident with this update is that the OS will be upgraded to the very latest Ice Cream Sandwich version. As far as users are concerned the main differences occur in the updated Sense user interface which now offers a host of new features including a super tabbed web page management system. Camera features have also been affected by this update and now includes white balance control and a continuous auto focus for video capture.
The One X is a superb smartphone which is widely regarded as the best currently available and this new update provides a wide range changes to which HTC have commented “Other improvements include a Single Sign-On for Facebook allowing user access across applications and browsers and upgrades to Beats audio, which reflect our dedication to providing an authentic sound experience”.
