India iPhone 5 launch pushed to November 2nd

The news is out the supposed iPhone 5 launch in India was pushed back by a week and the new launch date is now the 2nd of November. Despite of this bad news, Apple did not start billing in Indian Rupee on their App Store online. The move will benefit vast majority of developer community who sell their apps on the App Store. This includes those who bought or downloaded paid applications and content from the App Store.
Yes, the billing was done in US Dollars ($) and not in Indian Rupee. In comparison, if you are an Android user then you are aware that Google (Google Play Store) bills their clients in Rupee and not in Dollars. If Apple chooses to do their transactions in Rupee then their Indian clients would find it easier.
Mobile apps have been nothing but a lucrative business and this doesn’t only apply to Apple or Google. Google has been predominantly taking more than half of the overall apps sales worldwide. Apple is still behind Google but is strongly keeping its stance when it comes to mobile app revenues. They are said to get two-thirds of the total apps revenue worldwide. It was also mentioned that Apple paid a whopping $6.5 Billion to their developers for selling their wares on Apple’s App Store. There are over 35 Billion of apps which has been downloaded since Apple opened their App Store back in 2008.
Back to the subject of the iPhone 5 delay, again keep in mind that this new iPhone jewel will land in India via Redington India and Ingram Micro on November 2nd. The said iPhone 5 stocks are expected to arrive within the next 2 to 3 days. In addition, both of the companies are said to start taking pre-orders within the next day or two.
