iPad 3 Rumored to Launch First Week of March

When the time comes around and a new Apple device has been in the works for long enough, it’s become all to common to see Apple fanboy’s take to their fanboy blogs speculating when they believe the new Apple device will be launched. Which if you can believe happens to be wrong the majority of the time – yet, so many jump on the bandwagon. Thus why I attempt to distance myself from new Apple device rumors by covering my eyes whenever I see the hundreds of articles with similar titles “iPad 3 to launch next week” etc.
Being said, s I feel the need to share the latest iPad 3 rumor with you all. Simply because my feed reader was filled today with headlines from reputable tech new sources such as TechCrunch, Engadget, Gizmodo, MacRumors, 9to5Mac, and AppleInsider all detailing the same iPad 3 rumor first made public by AllthingsD whom got their tip from an “anonymous” source. Which must be reputable given how much attention it has received.
As it stands the rumor has it Apple will be announcing the launch of an iPad 3 sometime in the first week of March. The rumor provides little to no details of what hardware upgrades we can expect – only speculating the iPad 3 will be powered by a quad-core processor and higher resolution display: both safe assumptions. This would be if Apple’s following the same launch as the iPad 2 that invites to the event will be sent out before the end of this month. Hopefully we’ll see an announcement from Apple soon regarding the launch of the iPad 3 it’s more than a safe bet to say it’s right around the corner.
If you’re contemplating the purchase of an iPad 1 or 2 – I’d recommend holding out for the iPad 3.
