Now that most of the retailers and networks have released their iPhone 5 contract deals we take a look at the cheapest offers currently available for both the Black & Slate and White & Silver 16GB models.
First off, the cheapest line rental deals that include a free iPhone 5.
There are currently two iPhone 5 deals offering a free phone with the cheapest line rental prices of £46, these are on O2 and T-Mobile although you do get a little more with T-Mobile’s deal:
O2 Unlimited + 1GB at £46: 24 x £46 = £1104
unlimited minutes + unlimited text + 1GB data
T-Mobile Unlimited at £46: 24 x £46 = £1104
unlimited minutes + unlimited text + unlimited data
Next we look at the cheapest iPhone 5 contract deal over the minimum term contract which is currently offered on Vodafone with a 12 month agreement with an upfront price of £229:
Vodafone 900 + Unlimited + 500MB at £46: 12 x £46 + £229 = £781
900 minutes + unlimited text + 500MB data
But, none of the above offers are actually the most popular so far, this accolade goes to 3 Mobile who are currently offering iPhone 5 deals on two tariffs that are outselling the other networks and cost £79 upfront:
Three 500 + 5000 + Unlimited at £34: 24 x £34 + £79 = £895
500 minutes + 5000 text + unlimited data
Three 2000 + 5000 + Unlimited at £36: 24 x £36 + £79 = £943
2000 minutes + 5000 text + unlimited data
The one network we haven’t mentioned yet is obviously Orange, their most popular deal includes a £29.99 price for the iPhone 5:
Orange iPhone 41 Extra: 24 x £41 + £29.99 = £1013.99
600 minutes + unlimited text + 1GB data
If you want to take advantage of the new 4G network then make sure you buy an iPhone 5 deal on either T-Mobile or Orange and they’ll switch you across as soon as the network goes live!
