When the exact date of the new iPhone 5 gets released on the 12thSeptember we are excepted to find out that the accessories that will come complete with the device will include the stunning new white iPhone earphones. As the iconic ear-buds have been around since 2006, they have yet to be redesigned, but the new iPhone 5 will feature the fresh-look earphones. The news comes complete with the remote control and in-line microphone that was seen in 2008’s iPhone launch, which is great news as they both work very well.
The new look ear buds will be able to be carried easily with the phone so that you can always have them near to hand when an incoming call comes in and you want your hands free, or if you’re driving, or simply want to listen to music either on the radio or MP3s. The new buds are meant to being built and produced in Vietnam, where the leaked photos have been seen, and if they are the real ones then they’re cleaner, smoother, smarter and just all-round better-looking than the old ones. That’s not to say there was anything wrong with the old ones, but the new ones are simply better and nicer looking which bodes well for new iPhone 5 owners.
The buds have a single construction which means everything is fully integrated. There are no extra units or breakable parts, such as those older-style ones that would burst out under pressure. They have a small profile so they will fit your ears better and will no doubt come with added end-caps so that for those that want larger ends they will be included too.
Not only will the new iPhone 5 have better headphones but it will have NFC technology which means that you can turn your funky new smartphone as a credit card. It means that retailers or shops that allow Tap to Pay points in their establishment, you can just accept the payment to your phone for amounts up to £15 and you simply enter a PIN number for prices over that. The contactless payment system will speed up transactions all over the world, and as we have the festive season coming up and 4G coming to the UK too, everything from December 2012 and onwards will just be faster.
It means that credit card companies will be able to take more transactions at a faster rate from now on. Of course, there will be other phones that feature NFC such as the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S3, but the iPhone 5 has been so hotly awaited that having it on the market soon with 4G capability and NFC technology, as well as those funky ear buds, we are in for a great time ahead of us.
