There is a new rumour about a supposed ‘March 15 launch date’ for Samsung’s up and coming flagship the Galaxy S4. Yes, in addition, a retail availability of the Samsung Galaxy S4 came out and according to it, Europe will be the first to get it weeks after the supposed March 15 launch date.
The ever-reliable SamMobile reported about it last week, and said that Samsung is planning to announce the much-awaited arrival of the successor of the Samsung Galaxy S3, the Galaxy S4. This is said to happen in one event that is tentatively scheduled on the 15th of March.
While Samsung has been mum about the whole subject, SamMobile’s unnamed source spilled the beans on the Korean tech giant’s internal plans for the Samsung Galaxy S4.
If and when this particular rumour is true, it could only mean that the Korean tech giant is most likely to shy away from the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2013, and push on with its solo event. It’s only logical for the company to do so. Not that they don’t need the attention, but it could be better for them to host their own event for their device.
Many of you Samsung fanatics may also have to wait longer than mid of March before you can actually get your Galaxy S4. Morever, this device is also said to roll out first in Europe sometime in April and will be then followed by Asian release later in the month. After which, it will then roll out to US, Africa, and Australia May or June of this year.
The Galaxy S3 successor is rumoured to come in with Octa core processor with Mali-T658 GPU. This is also said to come in Black and White. There is also the rumoured 4.99” Super AMOLED Full HD display, 13MP main camera with 1080p video recording, 2GB worth of RAM, and 2MP front-facing camera.
