Nokia and its former Vice President for product marketing Ilari Nurmi recently parted ways. It is a big shock to the mobile industry as we all know that Nurmi was the one who introduced and unveiled the new Nokia Lumia 920 last month. 
It was Reuters who reported that Nurmi and Nokia parted ways. However, both Nurmi and Nokia kept mum about the real score between them or about the reasons behind the said high-profile executive departure. We all know that Nokia’s new Windows Phone 8 devices will be arriving soon (next month), but what we don’t know or what we don’t understand is why the sudden break-up?
With the crazy pre-orders that Nokia is receiving from Russia with their Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 handsets, I wonder how they will go about the whole thing without Nurmi? Yes, Nokia fans in Russia will be seeing these two Lumia devices come November, but until now there is no official pricing or release date from Nokia.
Meanwhile, AT&T announced that they will be carrying the new Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820 in the US. They may have announced the arrival of the new Windows Phone 8 devices by Nokia but they left out the whole pricing and release date details. All we know for now is that in Germany the Nokia Lumia 920 will go for $836 and the Lumia 820 will go for $643. In Italy, the Lumia 920 is priced at $771 while the Lumia 820 is priced at $643.
Last week, Microsoft announced that their Windows Phone 8’s official release will happen on the 29th. The Nokia Lumia 920 will land with a 4.5” curved glass WXGA IPS LCD display and it will also come in with PureMotion HD+. According to the Finnish phone manufacturer, this is better compared to HD resolution. The Nokia Lumia 820 on the other hand will come in with a 4.3” display.
