Recently, Nokia announced prices for the new Windows Phone 8 handsets the Lumina 920 and Lumia 820 devices. The announced prices were meant for the following countries namely: Russia, Germany, and Italy. Unfortunately, there are still no Nokia Lumia 920 prices for US and UK. 
A lot of speculations have been seen online as to how expensive the Lumia 920 and 820 are. This is when they compare them with HTC’s 8X and 8S and Samsung’s ATIV S. And a lot of people are also comparing the expected prices to Samsung’s Galaxy S3 and Apple’s iPhone 5.
It’s hard to justify the pricing when we all know that different countries do impose different kinds of taxation systems. Until the time when Nokia is all ready to talk about the expected prices of the said new phones, then that is the only time we can say that it is cheap or not.
The new Nokia Lumia 920 in Russia is said to be priced at $800 or £496 the Lumia 820 is priced for $640 or £396. In Germany the Lumia 920 is priced at $834 or £517 and the Lumia 820 is priced at $642 or £398. Now in Italy, the Lumia 920 is priced at $769 or £477.
But if you compare the new Nokia Lumia 920 with the iPhone 5 or Galaxy S3, the new Windows Phone 8 by Nokia seems to be reasonably priced. It is also coming with more features than the latter. The Lumia 920 is said to come with PureView camera, NFC, PureMotion display, and a whole lot more.
Now you all know about Samsung’s latest flagship Android device the Galaxy S3 right? If you also compare the Nokia Lumia 920 to its price, you will instantly notice that both of these handsets are on the same price range. This is even if the Galaxy S3 is a bit older than the Lumia 920 (well just months older that is).
