It was last week when Microsoft finally unveiled its Windows Phone 8 Operating System to the world. It was also the same day when Microsoft gave rough release dates for some of the mobile phones launching on their new mobile platform. For now, the Nokia Lumia 920 is Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 flagship. The release date and pricing for the Nokia Lumia 920 and the Nokia Lumia 820 in the US under AT&T is being tipped. Yes, the Nokia Lumia 920 will be available exclusively under AT&T for the time being (more of the whole six months). A couple of release dates for this mobile phone has been rumoured in the past. It was only last Monday when Microsoft said that the Lumia 920 will be available this month. According to GottaBe Mobile, the release date of the Lumia 920 is on the 9th of this month.
Now according to the latest rumour, the actual release is two days earlier than the previously November 11th rumoured date. Added to this, the new date is said to coincide with the Nokia Lumia 820 release date. There are also rumours that suggest that the new Nokia Lumia 920 will come with a price tag of $149 on a 2-year AT&T contract. The Nokia Lumia 820 on the other hand will cost you around $49 on the same contract terms as well.
Until this very moment, there is still no official word from AT&T as to when the actual release dates are for these two new Windows Phone 8 devices by Nokia. But with the rumoured dates, it could be possibly true. However, if that date is true then it will also coincide with the release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 under AT&T as well. So it will be a crazy day for AT&T if they choose to launch all three new handsets at once.
