The Korean tech giant Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy s4 will be unveiled at its next Unpacked event.
On its invitation, Samsung tells us to get “Ready 4 The Show”. It also tells us to “Come and meet the next Galaxy”. Although it doesn’t mention the device on the invitation, it’s pretty obvious what device it is pertaining to.
The invitation also hints that there will be more Unpacked events for 2013. It is titled “Samsung Unpacked 2013 Episode 1”, suggesting that we should expect more events and more devices to come this 2013.
Aside from suggesting the obvious, it also tells us the date of the event. According to the invitation, the Samsung Unpacked 2013 Episode 1 event will be kicking off in New York on the 14th of March. Furthermore, a Samsung executive confirmed this with CNET News.
The Galaxy S4 is rumoured to come with an Exynos octa-core (eight cores) processor, a separate GPU with eight cores, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel secondary camera, and a 4.99-inch Super AMOLED screen with full HD resolution (1080p). Knox, Samsung’s new security feature, and Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) is said to be on board.
