Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE variant (South Korea) received its Jelly Bean OS update

The latest Android flavour for now is the Jelly Bean OS and it stands at the Android 4.2. With this, it doesn’t necessarily mean that all Android powered devices out there will be soon running on the Jelly Bean OS. It is true that there are tons of Android devices that are still using the Ice Cream Sandwich OS or the Android 4.0. And it is also true that it will take a lot of time before Android users will get the Jelly Bean OS upgrade. It is a given fact that not all carriers have stepped up and that only a couple of devices will stay with the Ice Cream Sandwich for its OS. If you on the other hand own an older Android smartphone, then I am so sorry to tell you that you will be stuck with the Android Gingerbread OS for good.

Let’s all change the mood by me announcing one good news. Yes, if you own the Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE variant then I bring you good news. Oh you have to be a South Korea resident for this to be your case. Anyway, the Jelly Bean OS rollout has landed in South Korea and now you can update your OS to Jelly Bean via KIES.

You will now enjoy new exciting features in the likes of Google Now. There is also the improved performance of your Galaxy S3 LTE. You will also enjoy the new expandable and actionable notifications. Plus, you will also enjoy the new resize of widgets. Now, these are just some of the new Jelly Bean features that you will enjoy on your handset.

The update happened in South Korea, and this only means that US, UK, and other countries will soon enjoy this Jelly Bean OS rollout. Once it lands in your country, I am sure that you will fall in love (the second time around) with your Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE.
