According to a new rumour, Samsung’s new flagship the Galaxy S4 will sport an S-Pen (this is the stylus that can be found with the Galaxy Note 2). It is also rumoured to be officially unveiled in April.
Previous reports claim that the Galaxy S4 will come with a 5-inch display, sporting 1080p (full HD) resolution. If these reports are genuine, this would mean that the S4 would be just like every other flagship the competition has to offer. HTC, Sony, LG, and ZTE are all expected to launch superphones sporting 5-inch 1080p screens. Huawei is said to be preparing to launch the 6.1-inch Ascend Mate. Samsung is rumoured to have decided to include the S-Pen with the S4 to help differentiate the new flagship from rival devices.
The rumour also adds that Samsung will be including the Exynos 5440 chip in the Galaxy S4. If true, this is something to look forward to. This chipset will allow you to enjoy the power of a quad-core processor without having to worry about draining your battery. This is good news, since today’s superphones do not last at all.
Unfortunately, the Korean tech giant is yet to confirm if these reports are true or not. Anyway, we’ll get to know if the rumours are true once Samsung unveils the device in the coming months.
