Samsung chose a rather old approach in promoting the Samsung Galaxy S4. The Korean tech giant chose tap-dancing flash mob dancers to wow Times Square crowd.
The flash mob dancers were dressed in bowler hats and elegant black suits with the number 4 printed on the back. They surprised the crowd as the group suddenly emerged from a paneled box entitled “Be Ready 4 the Next GALAXY”. The flash mob dancers performed an old tap-dancing routine before dancing back into the box.
Samsung described the new video as a “cool flash mob for the ‘Be Ready 4 The Next GALAXY’ in New York”.
If you were there and have witnessed the whole dancing in Times Square, you will be wowed by the mob dancers’ performance. The dancers were also able to get the crowds’ attention and were able to get some applause from them.
Samsung has been pouring resources on their marketing campaign for the Galaxy S4, teasing consumers but not giving us anything. Yes, this is so Samsung’s style.
Some of the rumoured features of the Samsung Galaxy S4 include an octa-core Exynos processor, eight-core GPU, a 5” Super AMOLED display screen, 2GB of on-board memory and a 13MP main shutter with 1080p video recording capability. There is also the phone’s 2MP secondary shutter. The Galaxy S4 is also said to land with the latest Android iteration, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.
The Samsung Unpacked 2013 event is happening hours from now. The big question is, “are you ready for the Galaxy S4?”
