If you are a fan of HTC and a big mobile gaming fanatic, then I bring you good news. Yes, HTC will be adding PlayStation mobile games from Sony to a couple of its HTC Sense 4+ devices. What is more interesting is that, you can get them for free (but for a limited time only).
The Taiwanese phone maker said that the PlayStation Mobile game promotion started last January 30th and it is only for HTC Sense 4+ devices and in selected countries as well.
HTC said: “(C)ustomers in select countries using HTC smartphone with Sense 4+ have the opportunity to download one free game per week through the end of February.”
HTC also said that HTC phone users covered by their new promo can go to PlayStation Mobile download hub and get the PlayStation Mobile for Android App.
One of the PlayStation mobile free games that you can now have are “Cubixx” this is a reinvention of the classic action-puzzle game called Qix.
This promo is currently available to HTC owners with Sense 4+ UI in Australia, Canada, Japan, France, Germany, Spain, US, and the UK.
A separate article from Taiwan’s Central News Agency said that the company became the first non-Sony vendor to support the PlayStation Certificate program back in June of 2012.
Taiwan’s CAN also said that the program now includes a couple of handset brands such as Sony Mobile Communications AB, Sharp Corporation of Japan, and HTC.
HTC One V, HTC One S, HTC One X, HTC One XL, HTC One EVO 4G LTE, and HTC One X+ are the models which support PlayStation Mobile games.
If you happen to own one of these Sense 4+ smartphones and you are from the above mentioned countries, feel free to download your free PlayStation Mobile games now before the promo ends.
