UK Launch Date For The HTC 8X Confirmed

It is been far from the best year for HTC, after competition from the likes of Samsung and Apple have proven to be far too tough for the manufacturer’s impressive HTC One X to compete with.  The popularity of devices like the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Apple iPhone 4S have considerably hindered sales of HTC’s devices, and as a result the company recently posted quarterly profits at their lowest level since 2006, even showing a 79% reduction in revenues from the same period last year.

However, HTC looks like the tables may soon turn in its favour with a number of notable handsets in the pipeline. It is soon to release the One X+, an upgraded version of its Android flagship, along with the DLX which is set to rival the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. It also has a couple of devices ready to launch showcasing the new version of the Windows Phone OS. Visit our website for the latest HTC 8X News.

The flagship WP8 device from HTC will be the HTC 8X. This handset has been confirmed for a November 8th release, just a few days after the official launch of Microsoft’s latest instalment of its mobile OS.

The HTC 8X looks like it will be a popular choice, as most manufacturers are concentrating their efforts on Android powered devices, leaving phones with the Windows Phone OS with little competition.  The biggest threat to the HTC 8X will undoubtedly come from the Nokia Lumia 920.

You can currently pre-order the HTC 8X as a SIM free handset unlocked to any network, but pay monthly HTC 8X Offers will be available from a number of networks after its launch.  It has been confirmed that the device will be carried by Virgin, Three, T-Mobile, Vodafone, Orange and O2.

The handset is also sure to prove popular on account of its spec list which includes a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, Beats Audio, 8 megapixel camera and a 4.3 inch high definition screen, and of course the new Windows Phone 8 platform.
