iPhone 5 trounces the Samsung Galaxy S3

Good news for Apple and its loyal followers. Why? Well this is because the iPhone 5 trounces the Samsung Galaxy S3. Apple is now holding a new record and is currently the number one most used smartphone today. It was just three weeks ago when we witnessed Apple as it unveiled the iPhone 5 and launched it. Now according to Chitika, the iPhone 5 is the most generated device today and iPhone 5 users are more active than Samsung Galaxy S3 users.

Chitika also said the following: “This shift in the mobile ecosystem is not welcome news for Samsung which has positioned its device as a direct competitor to the iPhone 5.”  This mainly suggests that majority of Android mobile phone users are not really using their devices in full. Because of this, they are reflecting fragmentation that is afflicting our ecosystem.

When Google developers are building the Android apps, they are more focused on the high-end aspect of Android devices. With this, the users of the said devices are only receiving a small portion of the actual smartphone experiences. With this, there is also a reduced consumer expectation of high-end smartphones in general.

Chitika further added that “while optimizing online content for both devices is still the smart move for businesses targeting mobile consumers, this comparison emphasizes iPhone users still being the most active – and hence marketable – users of the mobile Web”.

App developers are now driven and are more inclined in working with Apple platform (iOS). With this, they are creating a busy ecosystem that is holding up constant and free software updates.

Since the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S3 back in June, Apple has been experiencing poor sales with their iPhone 4S and older iPhones. Now, the table has been turned and the iPhone 5 is slowly inching away from Samsung’s current flagship the Galaxy S3.
